As you are not permitted to drive on public roads before you are 17 years old, we use an off road circuit at Westpoint in Exeter for these lessons.
It is a purpose built track designed to take the stress out of learning to control the car in a quiet enviroment. Its practice road network includes junctions, pedestrian crossings, roundabouts, traffic lights and signs etc.
