THHN has very sadly decided to close the THHN Memory Makers Children’s Shop in St Marychurch. Whilst the shop has provided a great hub and visible front for our charity, with changes in the market place, we have been unable to generate enough income through sales to cover our costs. This has been despite wonderfully generous donations from the public, and immense effort and enthusiasm from our great team of staff and volunteers. Our shop doors are set to close on March 25th – in the meantime we will be having a sale to end all sales, as we would like to raise as much as we possibly can through sales of current stock ( no more donations thank you). Please come and support us; every single sale will help our charity continue its work providing much needed time away for families leading very difficult lives.

Whilst such sad news, as a charity THHN continues to go from strength to strength in its main goals – since 2010 we have provided free memory making holidays to over 600 families, some 2,400+ people, coping with serious illness or bereavement and we are gearing to overcome one of our major hurdles – provision of accommodation for the severely disabled. Thanks to our amazing fundraisers, and wonderfully generous local supporters, we continue to offer more and more holidays each year to families in desperate need of a break. The presence of THHN in St Marychurch precinct, even for this short time, has been a great bonus for the charity, raising awareness and fostering community spirit.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the public for their support in both donations and purchases.
